1. Parents/Student Handbook
Our handbook is a great tool to help keep information easy to find, all in one place. If you haven’t already read through it, please do so at your earliest convenience. You can find it under the About tab on our website or a hard copy can be available upon request. This is the best reference for any questions you might have. If you are unable to find the answer to your question after looking through the Handbook, feel free to contact us at [email protected] and we would be happy to assist you.

3. Do I Need To Wait In The Reception Area?
We ask parents/guardians of students age 4 and under to please wait in the reception area during their child’s class. This is to ensure if any accident or problem arises, the student will have a caretaker there immediately. Parents of children ages 5-9 should let their children know if they will be leaving the studio during class time to make sure they are comfortable with that.
4. Welcome to our new staff members!
First, we have a few team members who are moving on to different adventures this year. Miss Maddi is moving away, Miss Victoria is focusing on school and our front desk team member Miss Traci will be doing a lot of traveling this year. We will miss them!
Please join us in welcoming a few new team members to our dance family!
Miss Nina will be teaching Shooting Stars and Jazz classes along with Adult Beginner Tap
Miss Nancy will be teaching Shooting Stars
Miss Jody will be joining our front desk team.
5. Missed Classes and Makeups
If you know ahead of time that you are going to be absent from class, we would love an e-mail so we won’t worry. Missed classes can be made up with office permission anytime until the end of May, and even proactively when there is advance notice. You can keep track of absences through your parent portal.

7. Dress Code
For questions about appropriate/required class attire, please refer to the Dress Code section of the Handbook or on our website under classes-> dress code.

8. Water Bottles
Water bottles should be considered part of your dancer’s dress code to ensure hydration throughout the class. Please make sure students come to class prepared!
9. Let’s Get Social!
Check out our Facebook and Instagram! We often post pictures of classes, important studio information, as well as contests where you can win free stuff!
Facebook- Joy of Dance
Instagram- joyofdancenh
We have a facebook group for the 23/24 dance season! This will allow families to connect with each other, along with a place to communicate updates and reminders to our families! Check it out here!
10. Tuition
Please ensure you thoroughly read the Tuition page on the handbook and website. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about tuition, at [email protected]. http://joyofdancenh.com/tuition/
11. Winter Showcase & Stage Ready Fee
We are so excited to host our 2nd annual Winter showcase! To learn more about details for the showcase, the investment, and payment dates please click here.
12. Parking
Our parking lot can be a little tricky to maneuver. When entering, please veer to the right. You can park in front of the building, on the side near the trees, and around the back. When leaving, please follow the arrows and make a loop around the building. It is a one-way parking lot. This will help with the flow of traffic, especially during high-volume hours.
13. Studio Google Calendar!
New this season, we are pleased to introduce a studio wide calendar! This calendar has general events and important dates.
If your dancer is a part of, Performance Team/Troupe, Apprentice, Production or Disney; separate calendars will be made and families will be added when they are ready!
To access the Studio Calendar and add it to your phone, please click here!
