We offer a variety of classes for adults who have danced before, are just starting out or are somewhere in-between.
Adult Dance: Our Adult Dance class is an intermediate/advanced Jazz-style class with some ballet and lyrical mixed in. We offer across the floor exercises as well as fun dance combos.
Adult Ballet: A beginner/intermediate class level designed for students new to the style, or who have taken some time off. The class consists of basic ballet technique with some challenging twists. Class time includes barre and center exercises in a fun and welcoming environment!
Adult Modern: A beginner/intermediate level class designed to introduce the styles of Graham, Cunningham, and Horton techniques. Improvisation is used during class to help students think outside of the box and find new and innovative ways to move.
Adult Hip Hop: A high energy class for all abilities. Class time starts with a warm-up and continues with strengthening exercises as well as learning combinations to music from today and the past. Come let loose and shake it with us!
Adult Beginner/Intermediate Tap: Tap concentrates on rhythm and jazz styles. The technique is focused on achieving clear sounds and expressive rhythms all while building on basic tap principles to achieve a more challenging class.
Adult Intermediate/Advanced Tap: A fast-paced class for dancers with past experience. Class time consists of warm up, barre work, center exercises, and combinations. Students will maintain their basic tap knowledge while learning new rhythms and counts to build and strengthen their foundation.

Special Class Discounts
We offer a multi-class discount!
We encourage our dancers to get the most out of their dance experience at Joy of Dance by taking more than one technique class each week. Therefore, we offer the following discounts for taking multiple classes per week:
- 2nd and 3rd class: 10% off
- 4th, 5th 6th, 7th, 8th, etc: 15% off
- Unlimited classes: $350 per month
- Family unlimited classes: $525
Discount taken off lowest class tuition first.

Other special class discounts:
- Pay for the full year at the time of registration and receive 5% off. Cash/Check only accepted for this discount to apply and the tuition must be paid before the dancer’s first class. There will be no refunds if you choose to pay annually, so please plan accordingly. *As Apprentices already receive a monthly discount, they do not qualify for this 5% paid in full discount.
