Since joining this dance community, my two children and I have always felt welcome and accepted regardless of our age or experience. There is such a warm, welcoming group of instructors and fellow dancers, and I am so happy we joined. Thank you for all your patience and hard work. It is never overlooked or underappreciated. We love Joy of Dance!
My daughter loves Joy of Dance! Super friendly staff and very talented instructors!
Choosing Joy of Dance has been the best decision! The teachers are amazing and my daughter has thrived there! Can’t wait for many more years of dance!!
Joy of Dance has been great for both my girls. They have a lot of fun and have gained confidence.
I am so thankful we found this studio. Unlike some of the other larger studios, these kids get lots of one on one attention and have a real rapport with their instructors! Thanks Lindsey and the rest of the JOD team that makes this such a unique and amazing place for our dancers!
Joy of Dance has been a wonderful place for my daughter to not only learn to love dance, but also learn to become a polite young lady. It’s been 30 years since I danced as a child, and Lindsey encouraged to me to dance again. It’s been a thrilling experience. She knows how to challenge me, but still keep it fun!
Joy of Dance gave our daughter a loving, fun, and accepting place to express herself through dance. At first we were not sure how she would do given her shyness and uncertainty, but with each class she blossomed into a confident young girl who loves to dance. She looked forward to each and every class with Miss Lindsey and Miss Nicole. They worked tirelessly to make dance a positive experience for each girl. During the year and now long after Recital, we often see or find her pirouetting, doing grand jetes, and designing her own dances. Her dance experience has had and will continue to have a long-lasting effect on her.
My daughter has been dancing at Joy of Dance for over 10 years. She always felt welcome, loved and accepted by the original owner, Miss Linda. When my daughter became a teenager, Miss Lindsey came on board and started teaching her class. Miss Lindsey brought a lot of enthusiasm, creativity and new ideas to the studio. She continues to inspire the dancers to always give it their all, try new moves as well as to respect and care for themselves and each other. After the year end recital, the girls are so proud of themselves because they know they’ve done their very best and it shows. And somehow they have a lot of fun and laughter doing it.
Lindsey is a very skilled, patient and enthusiastic teacher who was able to get this very adult student (with NO previous dance experience) confidently tapping and eager to learn more. Creative choreography by instructors who are dancers gets us all groovin’, movin’ and smilin’. These dance classes are more fun than anyone should be allowed to have while “working out”! Two thumbs up and five big stars to Lindsey, Joy of Dance, and all the staff.
Thank you to Ms. Lindsey, Ms. Elissa and Ms. Nicole for supporting my daughter (and I) despite health issues and procedures. My daughter tries to attend and participate with a smile and some sparkle of enthusiasm in small steps, literally. Just when I think she’s given up, she bounces back and does her very best. The staff continue to support my daughter’s love for dance. We’ve made a lot of friends through the years. Dance classes, support, friendships and perseverance have become our therapy for everything endured. We look forward to learning more and keeping our dance family close for the future.
Joy of Dance is a place where children become dancers and dancers become family! Here at Joy of Dance, we embrace dancers of all shapes, sizes, and ages, from the young to the young at heart. This is a studio where creativity, individuality, and self-expression are encouraged and we have a community of teachers, students and families who are passionate about performing arts.
